The Brazilian defender went down in visible pain after seemingly twisting his right knee during a corner. He was stretchered off the field just half an hour into the game, with 21-year-old Raul Asencio stepping in for his Real Madrid debut.

Vinicius' goals led the hosts back to a win after two consecutive losses. The forward opened the scoring by cutting in from the left and expertly driving the ball into the far corner past Osasuna's goalkeeper, Sergio Herrera.

Jude Bellingham then marked his first goal of the season, capitalizing on Asencio's exceptional long pass from defense to chip the ball over Herrera.

Vinicius doubled his tally after an hour, capitalizing on a precise ball upfield from Real keeper Andriy Lunin, rounding Herrera, and calmly tapping it home.

Later, substitute Brahim Diaz intercepted a pass from Enzo Boyomo and set up Vinicius, who finished effortlessly to complete his hat-trick.

Despite the convincing victory, Real Madrid’s injury concerns intensified. Rodrygo left the field injured after just 20 minutes, and Lucas Vazquez was unable to continue after halftime.

The team is already struggling with a string of injuries: Dani Carvajal is sidelined with an ACL tear sustained last month, and center-back David Alaba remains out with a knee injury.

This win narrows the gap, with second-placed Real Madrid now six points behind league leaders Barcelona. However, Barcelona could stretch their lead again when they face Real Sociedad on Sunday at 20:00 GMT.
